Low ferritin but still exhausted
Close-match members comparing ferritin levels and what actually changed their energy — self-reported experiences, not medical advice.
Create Bio Chats about real health experiences. Idicine only shows conversations from people close enough to your biology, so what they went through is more likely to be relevant.
Your bloodwork and DNA are never visible to other users. Only match signals are shared. Not medical advice.
The problem with health forums
You can research your labs all day. But the forum replies? They come from people whose biology you know nothing about. Idicine connects the missing layer: peer conversations from people who may be biologically closer to you.
Anyone can answer. Their biology is invisible to you, and irrelevant to them.
Their result came from a body you know nothing about. It may have nothing to do with yours.
Only people close to your biology can see a conversation exists.
Their biology may be closer to yours. What they experienced may be more relevant context than a random forum reply.
How Idicine works

See it in action
Each creator sets their own match threshold. You see a Bio Chat when you're close enough. If you're not, it doesn't exist to you. Raw data stays private. Shared experiences are not medical advice.
Close-match members comparing ferritin levels and what actually changed their energy — self-reported experiences, not medical advice.
People with similar biology comparing timing, form, and their own unexpected reaction.
People with similar caffeine metabolism comparing dose, timing, and what changed over time.
People with similar thyroid lab patterns sharing their self-reported experience. Not medical advice.
People with similar response profiles comparing their experience. Self-reported, not recommendations.

Our privacy approach
Your biomarker values, DNA variants, and extracted lab results are encrypted with AES-256 in the database before any row is committed. Raw uploaded files are stored with AES-256 encryption at rest and deleted from our servers within 24 hours of processing. We designed several additional layers around the sensitivity of medical data.
Other users do not have access to your raw bloodwork, DNA files, or biomarker values. Idicine uses privacy-safe match signals to decide which Bio Chats are visible to you.
Encryption by design
Stored biomarker and genetic values are not readable as plain text. AES-256 is applied by a database trigger before any value is committed.
Biomarker, genetic, and analysis values are encrypted by a database trigger before any row is committed. Stored values are not readable without the decryption keys.
Bio matching uses one-way tokens derived from your data. Your actual values are not directly compared in the matching process.
Row-level security policies are designed so other users' queries cannot reach your data. The control lives in the database, not only in application code.
We maintain logs of data access events to support accountability and internal review. These logs are append-only by design.

You've read the threads. Self-reported experiences from people whose biology was never a factor. Idicine is what comes next: conversations filtered to people who may be closer to your biology, so what they went through may be closer context than a random data point. Not medical advice.
